Each year for the past 3 years, AllfourOne sponsors a women's leadership weekend at Camp Crestview in Corbett, OR. The heart behind this weekend is that women of influence from the North Central region can come together for a weekend of connecting with God and one another. Amazingly it lines up with the vision of the National Women's Ministry Office. "That behind every influencer there is a story". Most of the women who attend this weekend are in some position of misistry at their local church. Women's ministry leaders, pastors, pastors wives, musicians, teachers and prophets and womens district reps are some of the ministries I know of.
Even though there are usually around 200 women it is an intimate time of fellowship, sessions of worship and teaching, prayer and journaling, prophetic prayer and praise. Each of us come away having connected with God and making new friends renewed and refreshed. This year I am so excited that 39 women from the Cascade District are attending. The women are coming from LaGrande, Klamath Falls, Burns, Redmond, OR and some from New Life Center in Emmett, ID. We have women attending from California and from Washington this year as well for a total of 225 ladies.
Under the leadership of Julie Johnson of Eugene (whose husband is the director of the camp) is the NW Fousquare National Womens Representative. In the past two years Tammy Dunahoo and her husband Gary have come teaching at the sessions we have together. Tammy declared last year that this is the only retreat that she had been to where she left more refreshed than when she came!
I have the honor and privilege to serve on the board and am in charge of prayer. We come the night before and spend time in prayer and fasting for the weekend. Listening to God for the year. Praying with individuals and for Holy Spirit release for women and for the weekend. Its a job I love. This year I will teach on relationships using the story of Hagar and Sarah. With the spin, When ministry isn't all you imagined! Some of the regulars at Camp who usually teach are Sue Spousta, Diane Roberts, Stacy Schaub. It is so amazing to get to know women from all over who have such a heart for women ministers. I would encourage any church pastor to get information from Julie and the AllfourOne staff on L.O.T.V.
